It did it again  the letters amp what does it mean 

It's just some code that did not display properly on your screen.  It's the script for "&" that did not translate properly, possibly because of the font used or something.  Since "&" is actually a symbol, and not letters.  Not a big deal.

Not a real estate term. It’s an HTML code for ampersand. You shouldn’t be seeing it, but something between the forum, the back-end database, and maybe the mobile app aren’t talking quite right.

Why not just type “and” instead of “&”?

Very confusing for newbies. 3 characters instead of 5.

I finally had to do a search for “&” to understand what I was missing in all the posts I was reading.

I see it occasionally on another forum when someone replies to a thread on a mobile device.
