What has your experience been coverting SFRs to duplexes?
I've checked out a few single family homes that I thought made more sense as a duplex. When I've asked the realtor what they think about converting it I've gotten responses all over the place. I know it's possible, because I've seen it done at a few properties on the same street as my current SFR. Has anyone ever pulled it off, or tried and been rejected because of zoning or something else like that?
