Landlord Responsibility Automations?

Question

Looking to hear from current landlords:

Would you be interested in someone who would set-up automations for you like rental collection, maintenance requests, ads, showing scheduling, tenant onboarding?

It wouldn't be an ongoing service, more of a start-up project to set you up for success going forward.

I'm interested in helping landlords streamline their responsibilities so it is more passive.

Thoughts?

That makes sense!

That would definitely be beneficial for the non-techy landlords out there! There are a lot of landlords out there that aren't tech savvy, so having someone come and set up everything could be beneficial for that group. It might be a hard sell because a lot of non techy people won't see the benefit of using a PM software. But if you could sell them on automation with you doing all of the front end work it could be a good niche to get into.

Hi, @Cassi Justiz - Funny enough, the Cozys and Buildiums were exactly what I planned to use. I know Cozy doesn't have a role that walks you through setting up everything, so I thought it would be beneficial to have someone who does it for you. I thought of it because, in my day job, I am using a consultant to do all of the set-up for a new SaaS that I'm using. I wondered if landlord's using Cozy would need someone to do this - PLUS - set up additional systems that automate landlord responsibilities not covered by these platforms.

So I could see a benefit in this, but a lot of that is already handled if the owner uses a PM software. I use Buildium and it does almost all of the except for scheduling showings and tenant on-boarding.

To be really successful with this, you would need to differentiate yourself and your services from the Cozy and Buildium services.
