Property Manager Tax Deductions

Hi Everyone,

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but please enlighten me if you'd be so kind. Why wouldn't I hire a Property Manager if that is a Tax Deductible expense? Why would I do the work myself if the cost of the work is tax deductible? I promise I'm not coming from a place of laziness, but of busy-ness with my 2 jobs. Please be gentle if this is a stupid question. Thank you so much!
