Condo a good rental?

Looking to buy me a rental and just wondering what would be smartest, a small house or a condo? I live 1 hour from where I would invest so a condo would be easier for me. Cash flow is nice but I dont need it I just want to do what is smartest in the long run. Thanks

The smartest thing is what works best for your unique investing situation. Nobody can answer that question for you - there are upsides and downsides to owning either type of property - it's simply a matter of which one best meets your objectives.
