I am under contract for two new investment properties and contacted my insurance (Allstate) to add the new rentals. I was told that Allstate will only insure 4 rentals. What the heck? I have ALL my insurance there for everything plus an umbrella. Where do I go for the new ones? I hate insurance. ;)

it's becuase they are outsourcing the underwritng. I hate allstate for this same reason

I switched to statefarm, they keep all in-house and it's much better for consolidation (and for me they were cheaper as well)
