Wanting to start owning rental properties

Zachary Carper
Posted

I’ll be 21 in June and Im in the military. I’ve decided the sooner the better and I would like to start investing in real estate and owning rental properties. Kinda iffy on where to start and what my first purchase should be. Any advice or help from anyone? I’m currently in North Carolina. I’d like to eventually own a multitude of properties not just a few. What should I do to take my first step and what exactly should I be looking for as my first purchase. Thank you all for taking your time to read this and respond and I look forward to your responses.

Very Respectfully,

-Zach

@Zachary Carper you are what you do every day. So spend time on BP every day, find a great agent and get hooked up with an MLS portal and then analyze deals every day, drive around and look at properties, go to meet ups, find a mentor who let's you do work for him - make sure that you do at least one thing along those lines every single day.
