Multi family hallway tile or lvp

Hello the hallway of my multi family  which i am presently house hacking looks  dated and raggedy.  Should I replace the common area floor tiles  which is approximately 200 square feet with ceramic tile or should i go with luxury vinyl planks.  Want something practical, attractive and durable.

I like the waterproof vinyl for hallways and foyers where people track in snow and rain in these northern areas...
