I'm trying to better understand how much time landlords/property managers spend each month on average handling maintenance.
- Communicating with tenants
- Coordinating with contractors
- Following up with contractors about invoices
- Paying invoices
It’s hard to say. Things change monthly. Plus how many units will dictate your workload. I’d say all in for my 6 units I’m at 3 hours a month. A few text messages to my pm. in an email or two to any contractor I need to use.
