Deductions from deposit.

I was a renter and just ended my house lease as per our agreement, no unpaid rent or utility bills. I left out of town for work and had no walk in inspection or any other questions from my landlord. several days later he texted me I assume as he was inspecting the house,  things that he claims were damaged and broken, examples,  closet door not closing properly, wanting an exterminator for ants he saw, broken shower heads, a few other things but with no estimates or anything just general texts on the phone. Point is I am ok with deductions for major issues or damage, however how can I disput some of his claims, since I never saw the damages that he is claiming. In addition the broken shower heads were there when I moved in, I bought two new ones, myself. All the closet doors were working just fine for example, . So there are things that I am shocked and never saw to be broken, malfunctioning, that he is deducting since I never noticed the problems he is claiming on the texts. How would you recommend I challenge or respond to him by text or by the realtor who initially secured the lease.

YOu can suggest you will take care of it and get it done. He can deduct the rest.
