Mice, rats in stove

Have you had this happen? Heard mention at summitt. Pretty new stove, tenant says rat poop in insulation so she took some of it out. Now wants new stove, says this one not safe. What to do?

"Buy a new stove. Can get electric stoves little over $100 on facebook marketplace and letgo. You can sell the old one on through the same outlets."

But don't forget full disclosure 'previous tenant died inside'....
