Do you take home warranty for your homes - primary residence or rented out? Is it worth it in long run? Any preferred vendors that are good and doesn’t give a hard time while submitting claims?
I’m sure you typed home warranty in to the little search magnifying glass and saw they are pretty much a horrible deal. The only reason you would ever buy one Is if you were stuck in a horrible investment with no cash flow and a low paying job where you couldn’t afford ANY repairs. Even then you’d probably be better off selling.
Home warranty = joke's on you.
I'll only take it if it's free in closing, and I'll offer it to seal the sale. Most people think it's a security blanket, but I'd say they are pushed by agents for kickbacks. I don't know for sure about the kickbacks though, the agents always seem to favor a particular company.
