Tenant making meth / Insurance

Mark K.
Posted
We have Auto Owners for our insurance company for our rental. We are in process of having it remediated due to a tenant making meth in the garage. The insurance company told me it is considered a pollutant and is therefore not covered. The company doing the clean up stated they have had issues with AutoOwners in the past but with the help of a Public Adjuster have gotten some claims for this covered under Vandalism. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you!
