Fridge replacement advice
This is my first major repair request as a new landlady. I received this question from my property manager: "We sent someone out and it can not be repaired. I am sorry to have to tell you this news. Do we have your approval to purchase a refrigerator and have the old one hauled out, would you prefer a used appliance or new?" Do you have advice on buying a fridge either used or new and which brand?

@Susan Tan Find out the dimensions of the fridge and what the PM's price is for a new fridge. It may be cheaper for them to buy or for you. As Bjorn mentioned, make sure the door opens the right way. Just get a basic fridge. Most of the time the people delivering the new fridge will haul away the old one. I had to replace one in a rental a few months ago and the company my PM deals with said it would take 10 days, I called a local store and they matched the price and delivered it the next day.
