Uneven heating & cooling in a two-story home

Looking for any strategies on how to fix uneven heating and cooling in a two story home? Electricians in town say it’s a common issue in two story homes. Just looking for advice.

Look at where the air returns are at.  There should be one on each floor, if not you may need to add an air return. Open and close the vents to rebalance the outflow or heated air between the rooms and floors.

 You may want to split the system into 2 different systems, one for each floor.
