Background check and credit reports

Hey everyone. I think I'm bringing my rentals back under my management. The property manager i have is bad at comms, letting under $200 bills flow like water, and overall I'm dissatisfied.  How are you guys running background checks and credit reports?

When I look on the internet I see nothing buy spam things about these.  I need a reputable source.
