Square footage for ADU in Portland, Oregon
I'm having trouble figuring out the law for ADU max square footage in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm looking at turning a basement into a legal ADU, but the basement is 970 square feet and I think the maximum may be 900 square feet? Is this a law that's enforced in Oregon? If it is, would it be possible to wall off 70 square feet and make a storage space with an outside door to make the ADU smaller? Any help would be appreciated. I think I have a good deal if I can make this work!
