Are You Allowed to Force Renters Insurance

Can you put it on your lease contract or force your tenants to have renters insurance if they are going to be renting your house rental?

You can require it unless your state or local law prohibits it.  I require 30K personal  property and 100K liability.  It protects the tenant.  Cost is 11-12 a month.
