Buying Mobile Homes to Rent Section 8

Anyone ever purchase mobile homes and put them in the section 8 program?  In a high cost of living state in the northeast I have to think that the section 8 program is in high demand and for the cost of these mobile home even though they depreciate in a different manor than traditional housing I still think the return would be fantastic.

Is there a high demand for section 8 properties and has anyone done anything similar to this?
