Renting a SFR as a duplex?

What concern should I have about renting out a SFR home essentially as a duplex? I own a SFR that I would like to rent out as such. The basement acts as a 3 bed/ 1 bath apartment with it's own full kitchen, laundry and a separate entrance through the garage. The tenants would share a garage and backyard space. Is this allowable and am I missing anything? Any legal concerns?
