Insurance Provider in Texas

So in the last few months I have had to reach out to my insurance agent a couple of time and have not been able to reach him taking over a week to hear back from him after multiple voicemails and emails.  Only after I threaten to pull my business we he then reply.  I dont feel as though I can count on him  and obviously I cant wait a week to start the process of filing a claim if I needed to so I am looking to find a new agent.  

What do you look for in an agent?  Any recommendations or referrals of someone who is fairly priced and will actually answer or return calls?

@Jason Smith I use Mark Roland with Foursqurare Insurance. He has my rentals covered with a commercial policy and saved me lots of $$. He also saved me several thousand for my E&O insurance....with better coverage.
