House hack - renting basement
Hi Everyone,
I have a basement I'd like to rent out. It has it's own entrance. My electric panel and hvac is located there. I don't think my tenants would be ok with someone entering their unit because a breaker tripped. Has anyone come across this before and what did you do to work around this? I'm wondering if we can move the electric panel outside or possibly splitting it in 2 panels.
