I need help with pricing please

I recently had a leak in my water line on the second floor and had to have some work done on my living room ceiling. The total cost of repair not including plumbing repair is $1789.05 with a $1000 deductible. The insurance is trying to lowball me and only pay $346.02 instead of $789.05. Besides this company, I also had another company come in first to check out the damage. I asked the first company around how much it would be for the water mitigation, patching, and painting, and the guy said anywhere from $1200-1500. However, I later decided to go with a different company, and this was what I was charged. Can anyone tell me if this pricing is fair for the Charlotte area? For one, I am not sure if I was overcharged; for two, I don’t know how to make the insurance company pay up the difference. Any help is appreciated!!
