Looking for a little guidance

Hey everyone.  So a little over a week ago my two weeks ended and I left my job.  When I started there 2 years ago I knew it was a stepping stone.  I don't have a sure destination yet but my plan is to eventually get a fifth wheel to live in as my next career move will be semi transient.

I'm struggling with making the right decision with what to do with my house.  It's 2100sq ft, about 45 minutes from Charleston, SC on lake Marion.  I'm currently working on selling everything I can before I have to push off.  I want to use this as my first venture into being a land lord.

I have had no luck in finding a property manager out of Charleston that will cover my house being that far from town.  Managing it myself without being near by makes me a bit nervous, really wanted a manager to handle everything as I have a lot of other things to handle.  My next thought was to sell everything off and move just my bed and a TV downstairs then hire a contractor to separate up/downstairs.  I also have a thousand pound gun safe down there with some of my prized possessions in it.  Figuring out what to do with all of that is going to be a hassle so keeping that part of the house for myself for the time being would save me from a few headaches.

The kitchen is upstairs and if I go the house hacking route, the plan down the road would be to turn it into a multi family.  However, besides moving some of my bigger items out of here and into a storage unit near by, renting it as a single family would be much faster and cheaper right now.

As I'm typing this, I feel it's really more of a personal decision.  I don't have much time to sit around unemployed nor the capital to do a small renovation without going to the bank for a loan.

Thank you for any insight.
