No cities in Ohio are NOT going to seal Eviction Records

Recently there has been a lot of talk about a city 20 minutes or so south of Cleveland, Ohio called Akron, Ohio. Reason for all of this talk about Akron - Rule 39, a Motion to Seal Eviction Records of Tenants.

That would have been horrible wouldn't it? Of course. Good news is that it was shot down yesterday. Because you know, common sense. 🤷

@Jason Goretzki the rule was actually to seal eviction records if the tenant won or it was incorrectly filed. Keeping their record clean.

It in no way shape or form would have hidden actual evictions.
