Are electronically signed leases ok?

I plan to meet with the tenant in person and have them sign the lease on an iPad. Initial each page and sign it. Then, I'll e-mail the both of us copies.

Any problems with electronically signed leases?

We've bought real estate with electronic signatures, but only after signing (in person) a form that stated we agree to and are willing to accept electronically signed documents. Might be prudent to have a form like that ready when you meet them in person, get their actual signature, in case it ever needs to go in front of a judge.
