How do I hide property ownership information

I'm getting hammered with text messages and snail mail from wholesalers. How do I determine where they're getting my contact information from and how do I go about removing that information?

AMEN!! These people are absolute scumbags, it drives me crazy.  They get their data through data brokers, who are buying the phone numbers off your utility companies, banks, etc.   One suggestion is set up google voice, and then change ALL phone numbers with every service provider to your google voice number, then turn off its notifications. When you know your bank is going to send you a code or something, you can just open gvoice and look at the code. Otherwise you can check your voicemails occasionally at your leisure.

If you have traditional 30 year mortgages you can't always move everything into an LLC. Some of my properties are held in my name, and these are the ones they are always begging for. It is true they do not seem to go after the LLC's. Completely removing my cellphone from any business besides the local mom and pop chinese place has helped cut it down quite a bit.

I will never buy anything off a wholesaler. Their entire business model is built off deception.  Plus they get so greedy that their deals suck anyway.  That said I won't go out of my way to F them over either, but I would be ecstatic if the absolutely useless Ohio Division of Real Estate busting them for deceptive unlicensed practices, or if the FCC started busting them for their completely illegal robocalls and SMS spam.

No doubt people will wonder "why is this guy so upset?" its because you don't apparently own any property where these monkeys operate. They will leave me voicemails about a "problem" at one of my property and when I call back concerned, its "oh we are property sales solutions business" ... nah bye!  Even though most of this spam gets redirected to google voice, sometimes they do somehow get my cellphone number. In bad weeks I probably get about 20-30 texts or calls. Drives me bananas.
