I have recently acquired 4 acres and plan to move 8 homes onto the property. ( 1/2 acre per house.) I am curious if anyone has experience with this. If so, is there any problems you ran into I should be worried about? Would each house have its own address or share one? Are there any kind of special permits I would need? I’m not sure who to talk to for these questions here locally. I know if anyone can answer my questions, this is the place. The property is located in southeast Texas, if that’s helps. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.

Talk to your municipality (whoever you pay property taxes to) and find out what the rules and regulations are.

@Shelby Cucco . Planning & Zoning or whatever it's called if in a city or municipality or County if outside city or municipality.
Probably looking at having to pay for utility (water, elec, gas, sewer) hookups, etc. If rural, you'll need a communal septic system or most likely a septic system for each property. Most counties will have restrictions on the size of lot required for septic systems, so putting 8 houses on 4 acres may not be feasible.
