I am looking for advice regarding a potential rental property above my garage. I am a property investor that primarily flips homes and I own a dozen rental properties. I recently purchased a vacant 1905 4300sq ft home on an 11,000 sq ft lot. I have the potential of creating a rental unit above a new garage that we are building that I would rent with air bnb. Can you foresee any issues with this? Would you consider this a good investment opportunity? The neighborhood is full of historic million dollar homes and is a tourist destination as well - so I believe it would rent well.
