Returning Keys for Rental House in Texas

Hello fellow Landlords,

Is there a time by which tenants have to return the key on the lease end date? Say 5pm or do they have till midnight? 

This is in Texas.

Get the keys back after you do the final walk thru of the property. 
At that time you can close out the paperwork and send the security deposit back to them. 

If you have a PM that is taking care of your property then they should be well verse with this procedure.
