Estimating property taxes and insurance

Was just wondering if there was a general percentage I could use to calculate property insurance and taxes when running numbers on a rental property or if there are websites I can utilize?  I'm sure it's specific to city and state.  But just in case I have limited info on a property, I wanted to better understand how I can be resourceful to gather needed information when running numbers.  I'm new at this!
