Section 8 rental applicant

Greetings;

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide your valuable feedback on the Pros & Cons of accepting section 8 applicants. I have just listed my home that I used to live in for rent. I feel pretty uneasy about letting just about anyone in and I have heard some horror stories about damage caused by section 8 tenants.

Is there a fair housing law that prevents me from stating that I would not rent to tenants from section 8?

Thank you
