Do Do I need central air?

I have an SFR in Indiana. The property has forced air heat, but no A/C. Originally I planned on installing central air. But I'm beginning to wonder if it's overkill. It's a very small 2 bedroom bungalow (700) sq ft in a B- neighborhood.
