Evict with no lease agreement

I bought a 4 family about 6 months ago. I inherited tenants with the building. I usually am not a fan of this, however 2 had been there for 20 plus years. All for tenants are month to month without a lease agreement. (I know I should have had then sign one). Now one of the shorter term tenants stop paying rent. I have no choice but to evict him. Are rules/laws different when a tenant has no lease? I am in Ohio. Thanks...

@Rob Westerman a verbal lease is still a lease. You’ll probably have to prove (via bank statements, or similar) that they’ve been paying $$/mo since however long.

No written lease just defaults to your state laws... which still require payment.
