Color scheme for rental units?

Question

Which color would you recommend for rental units for following.

1) kitchen cabinets

2) luxury vinyl flooring color

3) paint color walls, ceiling etc

lastly, would vinyl click and groove plank flooring be ok in washroom too or you recommend tiles?

@Hammad Arif Sticking to neutral colors like beige, cream and gray would be best like @Marlen Weber mentioned. I would personally go with gray. We use lighter shades such as Popular Gray and Eider White, by Sherwin Williams.

I prefer oak kitchen cabinets. Lightens the color and is pretty easy to match anything to it.

For walls I like a beige or grey. My favorite is greige, which is a mix of the two. White trim, baseboards, ceilings.

I prefer luxury vinyl plank with a wood appearance for flooring. I prefer darker colors, but it's a personal preference.

I once read somewhere that room colors should simulate nature: dark at the bottom and lighter as you go up (earth, trees, sky). Seems to be a pretty good rule of thumb.

I would stay as color neutral as possible this way tenants are less likely to want to paint over it. Also, you can't go wrong with a neutral palette, it's the safest bet. Think white, off-white, beige (but not too dark), and light grey.

Agreeable gray paint, darker wood look vinyl plank, and white cabinets are my go to colors.  Modern, neutral, and durable.

For the walls, a nice neutral-beige or grey.  Trim white (cloud white).  Cabinets, a classic style-shaker with simple pulls/handles (the more detail, the more dirt builds up and is hard to clean).  Flooring, see what works with your other colours.  Something that hides dirt. One place I had, the carpet was a dark chocolate, I took it out and replaced it with a light colour and it changed the entire appearance of the room.  It make it seem wider than it was as there was now less contrast with the walls.

You want colours that work together in the space.  If the kitchen cabinets are in good shape, keep them and use those and the countertops to help pick the wall colour and flooring, keeping in mind you may change the kitchen cabinets down the road and not change the flooring and wall colour.
