How to politely make a request...

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, thanks for letting me join the discussions.

My question is regarding how I can politely ask one of our tenants to clear possessions from certain areas of their unit. We just had to run a gas line under the rental house I'm referring to and encountered over 15 boxes of CHRISTMAS crud piled all around the access area. It added over an hour to the already unpleasant job. But how do you say....you have too much stuff! Please move it! We like this tenant and she's been with us a long time...but so much stuff!!!

Thanks for your advice.

Well there you go. When there is no stop sign, people will go right through the intersection because they have not been told they need to stop.

People will do all sorts of things because they have not been told they can't. This is why there are all sorts of bizarre warning labels on products!
