Question about some deal breakers
What are some background check items that you will let slide, and which are deal breakers? Do you all consider theft a deal breaker? What are some clear deal breakers, and what will you let slide?

Check out their car.
You can tell a lot about how someone will treat your property by seeing how they treat their car. Is it full of garbage?? Are the tires bald? Obnoxious aftermarket exhaust system? Does the car fit the narrative of who the tenant says they are?
It's a little subset of the person's ecosystem that they bring directly to you. Don't overlook it.
