Washers/Dryers in Baltimore Properties

Hi All,

I'm finishing up my first renovation, which I plan to register as a Section 8 rental, and have seen other Section 8 rentals, specifically in the Brooklyn neighborhood, providing washers and dryers.  I wanted to not provide them since there is a laundromat a few miles away--and I don't want to deal with high water bills and repairs--but also don't want to be passed over for not having a washer/dryer in the property.

Do any other Baltimore landlords here have any helpful experiences or tips you'd be willing to share about this?

Thanks.

A few miles away for the nearest laundromat? I imagine section 8 tenants in a city would be more likely to not have a car, making that a very cumbersome trip. If it were a few blocks away, I would agree that the washer/dryer is not necessary.
