Killeen or Harker Heights

I am interested in hearing from anyone that invests in rentals in the Killeen market. Having lived there for awhile I know the majority of residences are rentals, however, after searching the forums there isn't any content about this market. Looking at the rents it seems as though the rates haven't really increased in the 10 years since my wife and I have lived there; this would obviously be a problem. I am just wondering if that is true and if you are an investor in that market I would like to connect and find out your opinions of the market. Thank you for any help!

@Daniel Parnell I have several clients buying in the area currently. I'm not a huge fan of Killeen proper, which is flooded with rentals. However, the Harker Heights "suburb" of Killeen seems to attract more long-term residents and has a higher quality of schools. Good home quality for the price. They are seeing multiple offers as well, so be prepared to offer a bit over asking if needed. Temple/Belton gets you far enough away from Fort Hood if you prefer a more traditional middle America style market.
