San Francisco Bay Area house hacking

What's up BP,

I lived in San Francisco for almost 4 years and just moved out to the East Bay Area (Concord) about a year ago. I just completed my first "luxury" house hack. I purchased a 2br 1ba house for $660k. I chose this house because it had a detached 350 sq. ft. office and a 1,000 sq. ft. detached 4 car garage. I converted the detached 4 car garage into a 2br 1 ba and the detached office into a studio with a full bathroom and kitchen. The two units bring in $3,500 in rent and my PITI comes out to $3,700 a month.

It's been a great first investment and I've learned a ton. However, I'm currently looking for my next house hack while also trying to decide if I want to invest out of state. I just wanted to make an introduction and see if there were any other bay area investors who were in a similar situation. I'd love to get to know some other investors in the area and maybe help each other with strategies navigating this tough bay area market.

Thanks!

Nick
