I need help with 5 SFR
My mother just became widowed and now she owns 5 SFR that all have tenants. Problem is she only gets $400 a month from Any of them from a 3/2 house to a mobile home. No $ put back for repairs or taxes. All homes are paid for but that's it's. They have no system no files for tracking anything. I'm wanting to make sure she will be ok financially for the future and as is right now the home she lives in needs a new roof no insurance nothing so I need to renovate and make the best decision for her. All homes are paid for but I'm not sure if she can borrow against them since when she passes his gets get half or if she sells they get half. I believe I just need some guidance o. Where to start on this mess.
