Managing AirBnB/VRBO in the Virgin Islands?

Hey yall,

My wife and I recently visited St. Croix, and loved every thing about it. The culture, the people, the unbelievable views, everything about it. I am really looking forward to owning property on the island, hopefully soon, so I wanted to connect with folks that either have property in the USVI/manage property in the USVI to become as prepared as possible to make a purchase. We currently live in Tennessee, so definitely would love to hear from folks that manage property long distance, in the USVI in particular.

@Dell J. I'm going to ST Thomas for the last week of October. just in a couple weeks. Was looking to maybe meet up with a realtor about a potential investment property while I'm there on vacation. Do you have anyone you recommend?

HI John,  My properties are actually on St. Thomas so their maybe someone on here with more valuable insight on Long term rentals in St. Croix.  In terms of jobs, the 2 biggest employers i think are the  refinery and the government(teachers, police, etc).

Be mindful when you run your numbers,  utilities and insurance will be alot more than you are used to.

Thank you for reaching out Dell. What is your opinion of the long term rental market in St. Croix? I would definitely be interested in adding some of these to my portfolio to have consistency amongst my STRs. It seems like the refinery is a large source of jobs on the island, along with the tourism related jobs.

Hi John. I live in St. Thomas and do travel to St. Croix every couple of weeks.  I own rental property here. Havent really got into the STR.   Let me know if you have any questions
