Laundry machines with pay through an app?

Question

Good afternoon fellow BP members! I finally got ahold of the laundry company and they are removing machines in two weeks. I wanted to reach out and find out if anyone have recently installed their own laundry machines and if you have done research on coins vs app based payments. If you have any insights I would really appreciate it! I think the app based is the future and I would love to find a company that sells those machines. our local ABT Electronics where I have an account only sells coin based Whirlpools and Speed Queens.

My landlord installed Clear Token on the laundry machines. At first they retained the option to also pay with coins, but now about half the machines are app only. I prefer coins, so have never used it. The reviews in the App Store seem kind of mixed.

@Igor Fedulov I added Payrange to an existing coin operated W/D set and disabled the coin portion of it.  I checked with the 4units asking if everyone was ok paying with a phone app first.  So far so good three months in.

Coin laundry is easy to hack with Q-tips, zip ties, etc. There's also the pain of not having enough coins, needing a change machine, etc. An app would be pretty handy, if it's available and works well.
