Landlord insurance and umbrella insurance
I am new to rental property investment. I put an offer to buy a duplex in Wisconsin and was accepted. I assume I need to get landlord insurance? I saw online ads about steadily.com for cheap landlord insurance. Anyone use it? I use Hippo for my homeowner insurance in Illinois and it's super cheap, so I want to do the same for landlord insurance.
Also is umbrella insurance necessary for rental property?
