My tenant is getting a lawyer even though lease ended

Hello all,

So this month is the last month on the lease with my current tenant. I gave her a 60 day notice and she agreed upon it but as of recently she is now getting a lawyer. I don't know from what angle she can be coming from(possibly covid?) where she thinks getting a lawyer is the best thing to do since I'm not evicting her. We had a 1 year lease agreement and I just received her last payment. After this month I'm not longer taking anymore payments from her.

FYI my property is in Big Bear, Ca

If you have any experience from being in this situation or any recommendations PLEASE let me know.

Thanks,

Josh
