Bugs coming through ceiling light fixture

Luke Baumbach
Posted

A tenant called me this morning and said that bugs are crawling through her ceiling light fixture and falling onto her bed.

I’ve never seen something like this. This property is in Milwaukee, WI.

Is best practice to check it out myself and then determine if an exterminator should be called?

Yes go check it out! The bugs are not the main concern, they are just a side effect. I suspect you will find rotting wood and a roof leak.
