Property Manager in Aiken, SC

Hi BP friends, I am under contract on an 80 unit building in Aiken, South Carolina. We are looking for a larger property management firm in the area. Are there any recommendations with references that you all are able to share? This would not be a mom and pop operation and we would require robust reporting and communication. Please share your experiences good and bad! Thank you all.

Hi Christopher,

Our property manager, Karen Clayton with Gold Ivy Realty, manages a few hundred units in the area. She is well connected and recommends Jud Smith who is based out of Columbia. I don't know him personally, but Karen's other contacts that I've worked with have always been very good, so you may benefit from a conversation with him. I can't post contact info in the forum, but the company is MJS Inc.
