Using Address as Landlord Name???

Question

Wit regards to Texas, I was wondering why a landlord would put the address of the rental home (example: 222 Somestreet, LLC) as the Landlord's name on the rental agreement/lease.  Has anyone seen this done before, if so, what is the purpose?

I’ve seen the address of properties shown as the same name of the LLC, but being that it’s so common what happens when that properties is purchased can it still be held as that same title or is it unavailable ?

Generally tied to the name of the business.  Some owners just name their LLC after the street address. Nothing more than that.

Pretty common....not sure where it started...maybe helps people with multiple LLCs to keep track of what properties are which.  I guess they could name them Property A LLC, Farm B LLC, Condo D LLC, or John LLC, Jane LLC, Junior LLC or some other combination of names, but then might be hard when you trade homes every couple of years to keep track of or remember off the top of your head.  Then whatever the name of the LLC is, then is the name of the landlord vs a person.   So if the house at 221 Main is owned by 221 Main LLC, the landlord on the lease would be 221 Main LLC.

Not just Texas, could potentially be any state or maybe even any country.   For privacy reasons you should probably not make the names to include your name.....Jason Jones, Inc.....that would be too easy to have people find what assets you own.  Also if you decided to sell the LLC, does the next investor want an LLC named with your name....or something more generic like the property address?   just something to think about.
