Hi my Cincinnati friends, 

I'm going to start a monthly BP meetup in Cincinnati (unless there already is one that I'm not aware of). Anybody in the Cincinnati area interested in attending? It'll be free and I'll have a local speaker for every event. I'll follow the model that @darren 

@Darren Sager created for NYC. 

I just moved from NYC to Cincy and think this will be a great way to make new friends!

I talked to @Brandon Turnerabout it and perhaps we can convince him or @Joshua D.to come give us a visit once we get big enough :)

    Sad to hear that you've left the Big Apple @Joe Fairless but the people from Cincinnati are lucky to have you there.  Very grateful that you took the time to be a guest for us here in NYC.  Perhaps one day I can return the favor to you!   Best of luck with the creation of your Meetup in Cincinnati!

     Thanks for taking the time/initiative to plan a Cincy meet up.  I put together a meet up a while back and it was a great time. It will be good to get it on a regularly scheduled frequency. Let me know If I can help in any way. Welcome to Cincinnati!

    Tell me about it... My daughter didn't get out of school in CA until June 11th and we finally landed in Amberley this past Tuesday.   Our house is still for sale out there, but my CA apartment building is in escrow. (Termite guy brought me a buyer, no realtors involved!!!)

    On the "plus side", I made my first Rumpke Dump Run yesterday.  ; )

    Excellent! I'll find a good speaker for us. Does anyone have an office space that we can use for our meeting?

    @Tim G.well, that certainly would make it easier on my outreach! :) I did a Top 10 pieces of advice from my podcast to the NYC meetup and could do that. Or could talk multifamily investing (I have a 168 unit in Cincy). I might to this route for our first one then we can bring in others.

    Once I get a venue locked down I'll let everyone know the date!

    I was going to post a new forum to ask other Cincinnati Investors where they buy their kitchen cabinets from for the best value. Then I realized I could just leach off Joes forum where all these great investors are already at! 

    So my question to you guys is simple. Where do you buy your kitchen cabinets in Cincinnati?

    I have been continually looking for a better solution for kitchen cabinets and always end up back at square 1.  www.rtacabinetstore.com I have bought 2 sets of cabinets from them and about to buy my 3rd set.  They also sell RTA vanities as well.

    Now with that being said, my last house and this house, I want a white shaker cabinet.  Haven't been able to find anything locally I liked.  They were either priced very high or they were a thermafoil finish, which looks cheap in my opinion.

    But if you are looking at darker and/or wood finishes, I would look at Pease Warehouse and Home Depot for the Kitchen Kompact line (depending on house price point).  Home Depot also has a line of Hampton Bay cabinets that look nice.  I have a GOOD guy at the Pro Desk at the West Chester Home Depot.  My $6000 purchase last week averaged 27% discount and he's looking for more business.

    I've been to Surplus Warehouse and Home Emporium as well.  Easily able to beat their prices at the places above.

    @Jered Sturm - where did you get your cabinets in the bi-level you just finished?  They look nice.
