Additionally, Real Estate Atty Hyndiuk has graciously accepted being on the panel to advise on title & legal from a rehabbing owners perspective including contracts, lien waivers & an overview the lien & contractor laws.

This is your opportunity to get tips about finding, building and maintaining successful contractor relationships and learning from other's contractor mishaps.

For the past year, Brew City REI meetups have been free but the time has come that we need to charge a fee to cover the cost of the room and also to host special events in the future. The Brew City REI committee does not profit from the Meetup. All fees are used to sustain the Meetup and provide additional resources to members.



We have some great panel guests for our next meetup. For anyone investing in the Greater Milwaukee area and are hiring or searching for contractors, this is a meetup you won't want to miss. 

Anthony Klenke: Anthony moved to Milwaukee to attend UWM graduating with Accounting and Finance degrees in 2005. During college, he started Klenke Property management, Inc. to keep away from getting a minimum wage job. Anthony also attended Rich Dad education to understand more about Marketing, Rehabbing, Wholesaling, and other techniques available for real estate investing. After graduation, he bought first investment duplex with then girlfriend, and now wife, Jaime. He then expanded his business by cutting grass, and maintaining other people’s property. With a growing family of 2 boys and 2 girls in 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014 he quickly figured he needed to find new ventures. Redeveloping houses seemed like the best way to do just that. Anthony started with hiring contractors. Since, he has gotten a contractor license allowing for much better oversight on projects allowing Jaime to focus on design and product management for the rehabs.

Marcus Auerbach: Born in Austria with a degree in mechanical engineering including 20 years working for an excavator manufacturer as business director, Marcus retired to follow his passion with RE- buy and hold since 2010. His focus is $150-$200k single family. He usually does full blown rehabs on his properties but has also done rehabs for clients and is currently building in Mequon. Marcus is also a licensed real estate agent, focusing on buyers and investors. He has some great tips to share on how to find contractors and to attract and retain talent. 

Atty Jon Hyndiuk: Atty at law with his own general practice emphasizing in real estate, small business representation, litigation and estate planning. Also, Broker owner of Esquire Realty and owner of ISR Title Company.

The remaining roster:

Nicole Pettis: Nicole started her graphic design career in 1989 and became very successful as an apparel artist working for big brands such as Limited Too & Kohls. In 2011, she caught the real estate bug and bought her first flip with an investment partner in 2015. Since then she has acquired and sold multiple flips, working with financial partners in the industry. In March of 2017, she left the corporate world to work with a top notch turnkey provider and to expand on her own real estate business, where she has taken her knowledge from the graphic design field and implemented it through the real estate industry.

Keith Washington: Keith is a one stop shop with over 9 years experience in the industry as a real estate investor, landlord and Realtor, both as a buyer's agent and listing agent. He has also rehabbed several homes including a City of Milwaukee property successfully.
